When you signed up for Tracker, a Tracker login was created for you by default. If you don’t already have a Tracker login and someone invites you to their project or account, a Tracker login will be created for you. Click the Join the Project (or Account) link in your invite email to go to a page to set your password and sign in for the first time. A username will be assigned to you based on the information provided in the Name field. You can change your username, email address, and initials on your >Profile page.
Your Tracker login is associated with only one email address, although you can also associate a separate Google email address. You can sign up for additional Tracker logins with different email addresses (e.g., if you want to separate your personal and work-related projects).
Signing in to Tracker
Once you sign-in, you will remain signed in, even if you quit or restart your browser, with the following exceptions:
- You’re in a private window or use Incognito mode.
- You explicitly sign out of Tracker before quitting your browser.
- You haven’t used Tracker for seven days.
- You clear your browser session cookies.
If you’re using a shared computer, you should explicitly sign out of Tracker when you leave. Again, after seven days of inactivity in Tracker, you will be automatically signed out.
